WELL SERVICES
WELL for Women leadership development and life coaching programs are exclusively for successful executives at midlife. Within the context of the senior management role, WELL goes to an unprecedented depth, partnering with clients in the expansion of self-awareness, thus increasing options, choices, and effectiveness through the discovery, synthesis and re-integration of all aspects of oneself and career. Through honest, objective and constructive feedback and coaching, we then work with each client to practically and uniquely apply the knowledge and insights gained.
We believe, paradoxically, that it's often the achievements and success that lead executives to existential questions at midlife. The midlife period is the time when internal and external crisises and challenges seem most to intrude upon us. If attended to with understanding, purpose, compassion, and an understanding of the process, the midlife transition can not only be navigated successfully, but result in personal and professional renewal and regeneration. Furthermore, we view these challenges as normal and necessary to one's unfoldment in consciousness by providing a catalyst for deepening self-awareness, the acquisition of wisdom, and resulting new-found passion, purpose and effectiveness in work and life.
WELL offers three programs: Core, Transition and Advanced. Each is described below.
WELL Core Program:
The WELL Core Program is delivered in a one-on-one coaching format, meeting every other week over a six-month period. Clients can expect to spend two to four or more hours in between sessions for reflection, journaling and taking action in her chosen areas of focus (which will vary depending on each client’s particular needs, interests and situation). While each client's situation is unique, the program generally unfolds over 5 consecutive Phases:
Phase 1: Discovery & Analysis:
In depth in-take questionnaire and discussion of current issues, challenges and opportunities; exploration of past dynamics and history; and preliminary visioning and goal setting for the program. Phase 1 establishes a baseline from which to begin.
Phase 2: Assessment & Feedback:
The client receives personalized feedback in the three assessment tools used as a part of the program: The Birkman Method, Personal Directions, and Leadership Effectiveness Analysis (LEA). There will be much discussion, coaching, reflection and action based on insight gained from this phase.
Phase 3: Synthesis: The work in Phase 1 and 2 are combined to co-create a TeddyShark profile with the client that becomes her development and coaching blueprint for the next 2 Phases.
Phase 4: Re-Integration: Coaching, discussion, reflection and action comprise this phase of developing and integrating the different aspects of self.
Phase 5: Commitment: Practical application of the work accomplished in the first four phases:
- Personal and professional vision and mission
- Action plan to implement her vision and mission
- Follow-up strategies to stay on track with her goals and continuing unfoldment in consciousness
- On-going coaching and support after her WELL program ends.
WELL Transition Program:
The WELL Transition Program is delivered in a one-on-one coaching format, meeting every other week over a six-month period. While WELL is intended for organizations who wish to retain and re-energize their best leaders, we recognize that during any executive coaching program, a client may discover that what is in her best interests is to leave the sponsoring organization. Likewise, organizations may decide to provide a leadership development or coaching program for an executive, when perhaps a separation is what is best whether due economic, retirement, fit, or other reasons. The WELL Transition Program is designed to address these situations with the flexibilty of adding executive career marketing services to the WELL Core Program.
WELL Advanced Program:
The WELL Advanced Program is a deepening of the work accomplished in WELL Core or WELL Transition. It is delivered in a one-on-one coaching format, meeting monthly over a one-year period.
Take advantage of your midlife transition - the best part of life is waiting.
